Spring Planting

The girls were having a great time helping to get this bed ready for planting chard.

The worms passively tilled this bed under a thick layer of leaves all winter. You could just dig your fingers at least 6 inches in with no tilling!

Soil from under an old hay bale made the dirt even richer.

Sharing.

"I want some seeds!"

Here are the seeds, about two weeks later. Top is rainbow chard, bottom is lettuce.
