We had the most wonder full muffins the other day, Janet modified a pumpkin muffin recipe for canned apples and the results were well received.

Apple Breakfast Muffins
1and1/2c. all purpose flour - 1&1/2c whole wheat flour-1c.sugar-1/2c raisins -1 stick butter,melted - 1c.milk - 1c. Canned apples - 4 tsp baking powder - 1tsp salt - 1tsp ground nutmeg - 1 tsp ground cinnamon- 2 eggs
Mix all ingredients together until flour is moistened but still lumpy. Devide into well oiled and floured muffin cups and bake at 400• for 18 to 20 min.or until golden brown. Enjoy them warm out of the oven:-)
