Janet sewed this dress on her treadle powered sewing machine. Some of the detailing is hand sewn for more authenticity .
It is 100% cotton, an authentic green stripe print.Size small/med. Janet is 5ft 6in.and this dress is perfect length for her, but it could easily be taken up for someone shorter or one of the tucks on the skirt be let out for a taller person.
The back closes with two draw strings, one at the neck and one at the waist.

This chemise , like the dress above is also correct for the early 1800's. Janet is wearing it under the dress in the pictures above. Chemises like this one were standard under garments at the time.
