Signs of Spring!

Signs of spring are popping up all over the homestead. Here are two little tomato seedlings lifting their heads to the sun.

All of our "Cor di bue" tomatoes are up. They are an Italian heirloom we have been saving seed from for several years. Can't wait to taste them this summer! As you can see our buttercups are blooming, too!

Our fire-thorn is about to bloom.

Here is our little hoop house Janet set up for starting greens. right now it has baby bok choy  just starting to sprout. It's made from chicken wire and a shower curtain and works great! it's what you do with what you got that counts!
